Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for 2D Designer - Technical Drawings Specialist at VGotThis Marketing in New Delhi.

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented 2D Designer to join our Creative Team. The ideal candidate will specialize in creating precise and accurate technical drawings for product, experience and retail design, with a strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and practical knowledge to produce detailed drawings that align with both design specifications and material properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create Detailed Technical Drawings:
  Develop precise 2D technical drawings for various product designs, ensuring they meet all design specifications and industry standards.
• Material Specification:
  Utilize in-depth knowledge of materials (e.G., metals, plastics, fabrics) to inform design decisions, ensuring that drawings reflect appropriate material properties and constraints.
• Collaborate with the Design Team:
  Work closely with the design and engineering teams to understand project requirements and translate concepts into accurate technical drawings.
• Review and Revise Designs:
  Conduct detailed reviews of designs, making necessary revisions to improve functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain Documentation:
  Ensure all drawings are properly documented, labeled, and stored in accordance with company protocols and industry standards.
• Liaise with Manufacturing Teams:
  Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure that designs are feasible and that any potential issues are addressed before production.
• Quality Assurance:
  Participate in quality control processes, ensuring that final products meet the technical specifications outlined in the drawings.
• Stay Updated:
  Keep up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in technical drawing and material technology.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelor's degree or any related field.
• Experience:
  Minimum of 3 years of experience in 2D design, with a focus on technical drawings and material specifications.
• Technical Skills:
  
• Proficiency in CAD software, Corel Draw is a plus.
• Strong understanding of material properties and how they impact design.
• Ability to create clear and accurate technical drawings.
• Attention to Detail:
