Account Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:
  • Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Generate and analyze financial statements, reports, and summaries to support business decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on budget variances and financial performance.
  • Reconciliation & Compliance:
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are addressed promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required.
  • Client and Vendor Relations:
  • Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment issues, account inquiries, and discrepancies.
  • Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders through effective communication and resolution of financial matters.
  • Inventory & Cost Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels and costs related to jewelry production and sales.
  • Assist in analyzing cost structures and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team and assist with special projects as needed.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation and records.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.G., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the jewelry or retail industry.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with jewelry industry accounting practices.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and cost analysis.
