Accounts Receivable Management : Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding invoices, facilitating timely payments from clients and resolving any billing discrepancies. Accounts Payable Management : Process vendor invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payments to suppliers, while maintaining positive relationships with vendors. Expense Management : Review and reconcile employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper documentation of expenses. Financial Reporting : Prepare financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance and support decision-making processes. Tax Compliance : Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, including GST and other applicable taxes. Process Improvement : Identify areas for process improvement within the accounting function and implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field. Proven experience (1-2 years) working in an accounting role, preferably in the shipping, logistics or freight forwarding industry. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
