The Finance and Accounting manager will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, assistance with end-of-month close, grant reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned. The manager will work closely with and report to the Managing Director.</p><p>Accounting Roles & Responsibilities:</p><p> Establishes financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information, and managing accounting staff.</p><p> Achieves accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change.</p><p> Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.</p><p> Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; and preparing special reports.</p><p> Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures.</p><p> Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and recommending new procedures.</p><p> Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.</p><p> Experience in drafting and analyzing various legal documents and policies.</p><p> Designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur. Financial Roles and Responsibilities:</p><p> Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information</p><p> Predicting future financial trends</p><p> Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted</p><p> Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.</p><p> Developing long-term business plans based on these reports</p><p> Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets</p><p> Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk</p><p> Analyzing market trends and competitors</p><p>Good to have Qualities:</p><p> An analytical mind</p><p> Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships</p><p> Commercial and business awareness</p><p> Good communication skills both written and verbal</p><p> A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data</p><p> Ability to stick to time constraints</p><p> Experience working in Multinational Company Experience: Minimum 5-10 years experience in accounting/finance Educational Qualification: MBA in Accounts and Finance, Masters in Finance, CA, ICWA</p><p><br></p>
