he Sr. Microsoft Consultant provides consulting and solutions implementation for software and cloud services with the key Microsoft solution pillar: Voice & Collaboration. The Microsoft Consultant acts as a trusted advisor guiding clients on their IT roadmap. The position takes the technical lead on implementation for multiple, simultaneous client projects in conjunction with project management, as well as providing thought leadership on the latest technology developments in their area of expertise. Responsibilities Essential Functions Learns client’s business, their organization, systems, challenges and goals Participates in, and leads, stakeholder brainstorming, technical planning and design sessions Crafts the technical vision by mapping requirements to technical solutions, communicating through functional and technical designs Validates pre-sales design during design assurance Participates in planning of technical execution Executes design and implementation according to ConvergeOne and industry best practices Maintains accurate documentation and produce project deliverables as scoped Adheres to work schedule and budget Articulates execution strategy through roadmaps, estimates and implementation plans Ensures quality through enforcement of best practices and project governance Builds prototypes and proofs of concept to validate technical decisions Leads by example through implementation of challenging, core components Leads client facing, and internal training (technology training and/or application specific-training) Collaborates as a team with peers on delivery, problem solving, and knowledge sharing Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities Works on projects both independently and as a team lead or team member Stays abreast of latest network and cloud technologies within and around technical specializations Provides leadership and mentoring to colleagues Contributes to process standards, practices and templates

Required Qualifications 4+ years’ recent experience working with Microsoft solutions Current Microsoft certification(s) in primary technical competency Proven track record of solutions delivery and client satisfaction Problem-solving mentality and commitment to continuous learning Willingness and ability to leverage internal and/or external resources Excellent verbal and written communication

Full life-cycle project management o Establish and lead project teams o Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications o Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality o Risk, Issue and Change management o Ensure successful project implementation o Scope of responsibility

Lead integration of product technologies with respect to Microsoft M365 and/or other Collaboration tool suites Responsible for systems analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, and deployment as well as application support for various applications Partner with Enterprise Architects to determine and define the technical architecture required to implement and support the Service Assist in leading Build and maintain relationships with team members, management, key stakeholders and/or external contacts (vendors, etc.) Ensures compliance with Navy Federal’s ISD standards, practices, and processes Lead the deployment of new modules, upgrades, and fixes Provide input and make budgetary recommendations regarding staffing and equipment Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems Document new system components, or modifications to existing components Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems Provide technical leadership in the architecture discipline and development of information technology solutions Present clear, organized, and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions Lead, guide, and mentor less experienced staff Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Microsoft Teams Administration/Configuration experience Significant hands on experiencing with the SIP protocol and analyzing call flows Significant experience with Microsoft M365 and/or other cloud Collaboration tool suites Significant experience with voice technology and telephony solutions. Cloud Telephony experience: Microsoft Teams, Oracle, Cisco, Contact Center, Ayaya technologies. Experience designing and integrating Teams with Session Border Controllers (AudioCodes, Ribbon) , Oracle, Cisco, Ayaya and Cloud Voice platforms Oracle SBC network design, configuration, support, and maintenance experience Log analysis and error resolution Ability to read and interpret related system logs, statistics, and database queries Proven skillset in troubleshooting and resolving issues Ability to comprehend, analyze, and research problems of a complex nature, make reasonable decisions, and recommend solutions Experience with M365 security and compliance M365 Groups Administration/Configuration Fundamental understanding of network and Internet concepts (e.g., firewalls, load balancers, web browsers, TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, LDAP etc.) High level of proficiency in Microsoft PowerShell (Preferred, but not required Working knowledge of ADFS, SAML, AD trust, AD permissions and AD delegation Microsoft Windows, VM and Linux administration Ability to quickly adapt to changes in process, requirements, goals, and organizational change Requires excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff Improves systems by studying current practices, designing modifications. Recommends controls by identifying problems, writing improved procedures Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Ability to learn and lead development of technical specifications Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills Advanced verbal and written communication skills Advanced word processing and spreadsheet software skills Effective organizational, planning and time management skills Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions Experience in working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors

Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Azure knowledge and experience or equivalent (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) Proficient in Microsoft PowerShell Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Teams Self-starter with proven track record of delivering results Demonstrated effectiveness in complex problem-solving situations Ability to work independently, under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to interface with vendors, customers, clients, and other departments and respond to requests both in written and verbal form
