We are currently seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as the Application Owner for Finance Applications, taking a lead role in managing and optimizing our suite of financial tools, with a primary emphasis on APOC - Accounts Payables on Cloud, a solution to process and manage the approval workflow of the supplier invoices.

Your responsibilities:

• APOC Application Management :
  Oversee the end-to-end management of APOC, ensuring seamless processing and approval of Supplier Invoices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance APOC functionalities based on business needs.
• APOC User Support:
  Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing issues, and ensuring a positive user experience.
• APOC Strategic Planning:
  Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the APOC application, aligning with the company's overall business strategy.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Accounts Payables domain. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and goals and align the application(s) accordingly.
• Finance Application Portfolio:
  Act as the primary owner and subject matter expert for other designated applications, ensuring their optimal performance and alignment with business objectives.
• Vendor Management:
  Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
• Monitor vendor service levels and adherence to contractual agreements.
• Security and Compliance:
  Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard sensitive financial data within applications.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies for all finance applications.
• Collaboration:
  Collaborate with IT, finance, and other relevant departments to integrate applications in your ownership with other existing systems.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to bridge communication gaps.

Your background:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Min. 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in Finance or IT and 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
• Proven experience as an Application Owner or similar role, with a focus on finance applications.
• Experience working for a multinational company.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Technical proficiency in finance-related software and cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• The ability to manage multiple demands on time, working with cross-functional, virtual, and international teams.
• A collaborative, solutions, and customer service-oriented approach
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and hands-on mentality
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential challenges.
• Fluency in English, German is an asset.
