As a System Architect at GEMGEM, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of our C2C jewelry marketplace platform. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the technical foundation of GEMGEM, ensuring long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the architecture of GEMGEM’s platform, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
- Work closely with the development team to guide the implementation of architectural designs.
- Review and optimize existing system components to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Identify potential technical risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure seamless integration of third-party services and components within the platform.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and upgrades.
- Document architecture design decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a System Architect or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successfully scaled systems.
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, microservices, and security best practices.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, including CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to foresee and mitigate potential issues.
