Area Sales Manager - Building Material Industry (Team Handling Role)

Industry:
FMCG/FMCD (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods/Fast-Moving Consumer Durables) & Building Materials

Location:
Aurangabad (Maharashtra)

Reports To:
Regional Sales Manager/National Sales Manager

Experience Required:
5-10 years in Building Materials sales with team handling experience

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and managed a team of Sales Executives/Area Sales Officers across (FMCG/FMCD and Building Materials sectors.)
  • Set clear targets, performance expectations, and growth plans for the team.


Sales Strategy and Market Penetration:

  • Develop and implement area-specific sales strategies for both FMCG/FMCD and Building Materials products.
  • Drive market penetration by identifying new business opportunities, expanding distribution networks, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Channel Management and Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain robust relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners across both industries.


Revenue Growth and Profitability:

  • Achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives for both FMCG/FMCD and Building Materials products.
  • Optimize pricing strategies, discount structures, and credit policies to maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.

Market Intelligence and Reporting:

  • Regularly visit the market to gather insights on customer preferences, competitor activities, and industry trends.

Compliance and Customer Satisfaction:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations.


Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven leadership and team management skills with experience in both FMCG/FMCD and Building Materials industries.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, distribution channels, and market dynamics in both sectors.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing (preferred).

Compensation:
Up to 22-23 LPA
