Required Skills & Competencies:


  • Proven experience as a team lead of Talent Acquisition.
  • Expertise in hiring talent across all levels and managing a robust talent pipeline.
  • Ability to architect search and screening strategies tailored to each role.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including diversity hiring and employer branding.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective retention strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
  • Builds off of a philosophy of psychological safety in team dynamics.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.


Desired Skills:


  • Experience working with international teams and scaling globally.
  • Ability to speak the language of engineers and understand technical roles.
  • Background in aerospace, manufacturing, defense, or a related high-tech industry is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to drive change.


As AVP of Talent Acquisition, you will:


  • Lead and oversee talent acquisition, focusing on attracting top global talent, particularly technical and engineering roles.
  • Oversee the entire sourcing and interviewing process, from identifying potential candidates to conducting interviews and making final selection decisions, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Manage the onboarding process to ensure new hires are seamlessly integrated into the company culture and are set up for success.
  • Collaborate with management to understand staffing needs and ensure the talent pipeline aligns with business objectives.
  • Work closely with leads of Employee Experience and HR Operations to align on overall HR strategies and initiatives that tie to overall business strategy.
  • Create and execute retention strategies that reduce turnover and improve employee satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize the talent acquisition process and outcomes.


Degree and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of experience in talent acquisition and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
