Job Roles:

  1. Developing Relationships with Specifiers:
    Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, contractors, developers, and other specifiers in the construction and design industries. This involves networking, attending industry events, and conducting presentations to showcase the company's products and capabilities.
  2. Understanding Project Requirements:
    Collaborate with specifiers to understand their project requirements, including aesthetic preferences, technical specifications, budget constraints, and project timelines.
  3. Product Education and Training:
    Provide specifiers with comprehensive product education and training on the company's quartz surfaces, including features, benefits, applications, and installation techniques. This may involve conducting product seminars, workshops, and training sessions.
  4. Specification Writing:
    Assist specifiers in writing detailed product specifications that meet project requirements and comply with industry standards and regulations. This includes providing technical support, product data sheets, samples, and documentation as needed.
  5. Project Tracking and Follow-up:
    Track projects through various stages of the specification process, from initial design to project completion. Follow up with specifiers regularly to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure that the company's products are specified and used as intended.
  6. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams:
    Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies and initiatives to increase product specification and sales. Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive intelligence to inform marketing campaigns and product development efforts.
  7. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
    Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance to specifiers, architects, and designers throughout the project lifecycle. Address technical inquiries, resolve issues, and provide guidance on product selection, installation, and maintenance.
  8. Contract Negotiation and Management:
    Collaborate with specifiers, contractors, and other stakeholders to negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions. Ensure that contracts are executed properly and that all parties involved understand their roles and responsibilities.
  9. Quality Assurance:
    Ensure that the company's products meet quality standards, industry regulations, and customer expectations. Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and standards related to quartz surfaces and building materials.
  10. Market Analysis and Reporting:
    Conduct market analysis and gather market intelligence to identify opportunities for product expansion and growth. Prepare regular reports on specification activity, market trends, competitor analysis, and sales performance for management review.


Qualification:

  1. A bachelor's or master's degree in the business administration is preferred.

Experience:

  1. 5 to 8 years of sales, marketing, business development or specification experience specifically in the quartz surfaces or ceramics industry is highly desirable.
  2. Specification Experience:
    Demonstrated experience in working with architects, designers, contractors, and other specifiers to influence product specifications and selections for construction projects.
  3. Sales and Marketing Experience:
    Strong sales and marketing background with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building client relationships within the construction or building materials sector.
