Career Counselor Opportunity at Modern School


We are looking for a passionate and self-driven individual who is eager to shape the future of young minds in our K12 school. As a Career Counselor, you will play a vital role in guiding students through their academic and career exploration, while providing personalized support to both students and parents. You will work closely with educators and administrators to ensure students are equipped with the tools they need for success.


This is an in-office position, requiring candidates to either be based in or willing to relocate to Lucknow. We are looking for someone to join as soon as possible. Previous experience of 2-3 years is preferred but not mandatory. Compensation will be competitive and based on your experience and knowledge.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group career counseling to students, focusing on academic and career pathways.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create personalized guidance plans for students.
  • Facilitate student applications to Indian and international universities, assisting with admissions and scholarship processes.
  • Organize career-related events, workshops, and university visits to expose students to various opportunities.
  • Stay informed about the latest educational trends and career development resources.
  • Engage with university representatives and act as a liaison between students and higher education institutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Diploma in Career Counseling or similar certification (preferred).
  • Experience working with school-aged children or in a similar educational setting is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office or Google Docs, and the ability to utilize digital tools effectively.
