Sales Account Executive - Life Sciences

Are you passionate about sales and eager to make a significant impact in a fast-growing, category-defining start-up? We are looking for a dynamic Sales Account Executive with 4+ years of sales experience to join our team in India. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the cutting edge of technology within the life sciences sector, where you’ll engage with senior-level executives across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic organizations.

As part of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving growth by prospecting, qualifying leads, building a robust pipeline, and closing business. You’ll work closely with our founders to capitalize on new opportunities and be a major contributor to our rapid expansion in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities: Lead outreach to new and existing customers using strategic prospecting methods. Identify prospective customers' needs and challenges, scheduling discovery meetings with Elucidata’s technical team. Deliver tailored, compelling demonstrations and present customized business solutions using value-selling techniques. Communicate the unique value of Elucidata's technology to help potential customers make informed decisions. Collaborate with the technical team to develop proposals and contracts. Conduct strategic follow-ups (calls, texts, emails) with prospects to maintain momentum. Manage opportunities and leads using Elucidata’s CRM tool. Demonstrate a strong growth mindset and work ethic in all interactions with prospects, clients, partners, and colleagues. Work US Eastern Time zone hours (9 AM to 5 PM EST, Monday to Friday).

Qualifications: A PhD in a relevant field or 8+ years of experience working in industry/academia as a scientist. Proven sales experience, with at least 3 years focused on selling sequencing or mass spectrometry-related equipment. Experience in the US/Europe market is highly desirable. Familiarity with complex sales processes, especially for high-value equipment, is a plus. Must be based in Delhi and willing to work US Eastern Time zone hours.
