Role Description We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join us as the Community Engagement Executive specializing in Sports, Wellness and fitness at Medifit Consultants Private Limited in Bengaluru. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on communities. As the Community Engagement Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing the community towards sports and fitness programs tailored to diverse community needs. Working closely with local partners and stakeholders, you will spearhead initiatives to promote active lifestyle, organize community events, and drive engagement in fitness activities. This role requires creativity, leadership skills, and a genuine passion for promoting health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination
Responsibilities: Assist in planning and executing community events and activities. Manage logistics, including venue selection, catering, and supplies. Coordinate schedules and timelines for event preparation. Community Outreach Specialists
Responsibilities: Build relationships with client departments and form community groups. Promote community events and engagement initiatives to increase participation. Gather feedback from participants to improve future events. Wellness Program Coordination
Responsibilities: Develop and implement wellness initiatives, such as fitness challenges and workshops. Collaborate with health professionals to offer educational content. Track participation and health outcomes related to wellness programs. Communications and Marketing Specialists
Responsibilities: Collaborate with Marketing team to create engaging content for newsletters, social media, and internal communications. Develop promotional materials for community events and initiatives. Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies accordingly. Staff & Stakeholders Coordination
Responsibilities: Manage volunteers (Fitness Instructors and respective support team) for community events and initiatives. Provide training and support to staff & stakeholders. Ensure a positive staff & stakeholders experience and recognize their contributions. Feedback and Metrics Analysts
Responsibilities: Analyze participation data and employee feedback to assess community engagement. Prepare reports and presentations on engagement trends and outcomes. Recommend strategies for improving engagement based on data insights. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in budget tracking and financial management. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in community program development and corporate employee engagement, preferably in sports and fitness. Experience working directly with clients or in a client-facing role is highly desirable. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with community members and clients. Passion for promoting health and wellness in communities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Management, Recreation, Health Promotion, or a related field. Additional Requirements: Attend community functions to network and identify potential opportunities. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of local community resources and networks is an asset. Flexibility to adapt to varying work cultures as per business requirements. Multicultural experience is highly valued
