Job Description: We are seeking a
Senior Draftsperson
with advanced skills in CAD software to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans for US-based architectural, civil, and mechanical engineering projects. This role requires a highly skilled professional who can interpret design specifications and collaborate with project managers to deliver precise, high-quality drafting work. Key Responsibilities: Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) for architectural, civil, and mechanical projects. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and design specifications. Modify and update drawings based on feedback from clients and design teams. Ensure compliance with US industry standards, codes, and regulations. Maintain project documentation, organize files, and update drawings as required. Coordinate with international teams and adapt to time zone differences for effective communication. Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and construction documents. Provide support in the review of project designs and identify potential issues or inconsistencies in the plans. Qualifications: Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably with international clients, especially in the US market. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software. Knowledge of US building codes, standards, and best practices. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus. Education:
A degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, or a related field. Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction techniques. Ability to read and interpret complex design documents and blueprints. Key Competencies: Attention to Detail:
