Data Product Lead – Procurement & Supply Chain

We seek an experienced and strategic-minded Data Product Lead specializing in Procurement & Supply Chain Data, and this role will be instrumental in defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for leveraging data within procurement and supply chain processes to drive operational efficiency, cost savings, and supply chain optimization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data management, analytics, and product ownership, with a focus on transforming complex data into actionable insights and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Ownership:

• Define and articulate the vision and strategic roadmap for leveraging procurement and supply chain data to drive business insights, cost savings in areas such as inventory optimisation, supply chain analytics, and supplier engagement.
• Align data initiatives with overarching business goals and objectives, ensuring a clear path to achieving desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align data initiatives with business goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
• Act as the primary advocate for procurement and supply chain data products, owning the product lifecycle from concept to delivery and ongoing enhancements.
• Define and prioritize features, functionalities, and user stories based on market analysis, stakeholder feedback, and business priorities.
• Partner closely with procurement, supply chain and logistics teams to understand their data needs and requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data availability, integrity, and security, while optimising data architecture and infrastructure for analytical purposes.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Implement data quality assurance processes, conduct regular audits, and oversee data cleansing and enrichment initiatives.

Others Responsibilities:

• Communicate data-driven insights and product roadmaps to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including executive leadership.
• Present findings, recommendations, and business cases clearly and compellingly to influence decision-making and drive the adoption of data-driven strategies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
• Lead initiatives to continuously improve data products and solutions, incorporating user feedback and evolving business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or master degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology or Computer Science
• Proven 6+ years of experience in data product management, business intelligence, or analytics, focusing on procurement and supply chain processes.
• Proven track record of driving business impact through data-driven insights and initiatives.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.G., Tableau, Power BI) and dashboard creation.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making.
• Experience in working with data quality tools such as Informatica.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SAP ERP (S4HANA and ECC), ETRM/CTRM and Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud.
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP, ETRM/CTRM, Salesforce, etc.
