Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns that can help in demand forecasting.
- Assist in building machine learning models for demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and help identify trends that influence decision-making.
- Collaborate with the software engineering team to integrate models into the product.
- Conduct research on new AI/ML techniques that could be useful for the project.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
- Familiarity with Python/R and data analysis libraries (like Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib or Seaborn)
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
