Required Skills:
1. Managing Vulnerability Scanning tools to identify security risks in infrastructure, application and cloud.
2. Maintaining and managing inventory of security solutions like firewalls, AV’s. and making recommendations for changes identifying risks. Assessing potential threats, and developing plans for eliminating vulnerabilities.
3. Creating or updating policies and procedures to comply with industry regulations and best practices.
4. Conducting penetration tests to identify potential vulnerabilities in an organisation’s IT infrastructure.
5. Analyzing data from security events to identify security incidents and trends.
6. Designing, implementing and maintaining security solutions such as IDS, IPS, data protection and encryption solutions
7. Reviewing security logs to identify security breaches or anomalies that may require further investigation.
8. Participating in risk assessment activities to identify potential threats to an organisation ‘s security posture.
9. Security engineers are responsible for designing and implementing security for datacentre, Enterprise and cloud.
10. Should have a clear understanding on networking protocols and effectively security measures.
11. Should have enough hands on implementation and configuration on AV, FW, WAF, API, Cloud ( Azure, Amazon,).
