Desktop Support Engineer (Jamf and SCCM mandatory)

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer with experience in core operations such as zero-touch deployment, patching, imaging, and upgrading for both macOS and Windows environments. The ideal candidate should have expertise in managing devices using Jamf for macOS and SCCM for Windows, with a focus on delivering a seamless, automated user experience. This role requires strong Microsoft expertise and involves working with laptops, desktops, and managing both platforms efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support

zero-touch deployment

for new devices, ensuring smooth provisioning of both macOS and Windows laptops and desktops. Conduct

patching ,

imaging , and

upgrading

operations for macOS and Windows systems using Jamf and SCCM. Provide core desktop support for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Handle deployment and configuration of applications, policies, and system updates using

SCCM

for Windows and

Jamf

for macOS. Collaborate with IT teams to maintain optimal system performance and security compliance. Assist with the design and execution of

Proof of Concept (PoC)

projects focused on improving deployment processes and system efficiency. Support device management, including asset tracking, configuration updates, and policy management. Document processes and maintain clear records of all configurations, changes, and user support cases. Required Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in desktop support, with significant expertise in

SCCM

for Windows and

Jamf

for macOS management. Strong understanding of

zero-touch deployment , patching, imaging, and upgrading processes. In-depth knowledge of

core operations

for device management, including troubleshooting across both macOS and Windows environments. Proven

Microsoft expertise

in managing enterprise environments. Experience working on

Windows and macOS laptops, desktops , and supporting end-users. Ability to manage and execute

Proof of Concept (PoC)

initiatives. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and Active Directory is a plus. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
