Responsibilities

Own and improve Infrastructure across deployment types & customer environments -- Enterprise Cloud, Hybrid & On-premise.

Automate & set up processes around Infrastructure provisioning, configuration, application deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting.

Ensure best practices through automation, infrastructure as code, robust system monitoring, alerting, auto-scaling etc.

Define, measure and improve the reliability & security of our systems by collaborating with relevant Product & Tech stakeholders.

Handle clients facing escalations and incidents.

Provide Level 1 technical support to address incidents & escalations as part of the 24x7x365 staffing assignment (on-call).


Requirements

Proven ability to handle incidents & escalations of complex technical issues by communicating status updates along with RCA to the external and internal stakeholders.

Proven ability to work with at least one cloud platform (eg. GCP, Azure, AWS)

Ability to work with Kubernetes and deploy highly reliable distributed systems

Good communicator


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Computer Science.

Having a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is a plus.

Having an AWS Cloud-certified Architect is a plus.

Having an RHCE or RHCSA certification is a plus.


Experience

Professional experience of 1-3 years.

1+ years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes Clusters

1+ years of hands-on experience working with at least one cloud platform (eg. GCP, AWS, Azure)


Preferred Requirements:

Previous experience working in Enterprise SaaS is a plus.

Previous experience of working in an early stage startup is a plus.


Technical

Understanding of AWS Cloud, using them to effectively build infrastructure.

Experience working with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes & Docker)

Experience working with Unix/Linux environments with a deep grasp on system internals.

Experience with Configuration Management Systems like Terraform, Ansible etc.

Experience working with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana) and Database technologies (PostgreSQL).

Validated breadth of understanding and development of solutions based on multiple technologies, including networking, cloud, database, and scripting languages.
