Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive digital forensic investigations using industry-standard tools like Encase, FTK, Passware Forensic Kit, and Autopsy. Analyze and interpret digital evidence, including data images, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and network activity logs. Manage forensic data effectively to ensure chain of custody and facilitate efficient case resolution. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify suspicious activity and build compelling cases. Demonstrate strong investigative acumen with a successful track record of closing complex cases. Possess in-depth knowledge of various operating systems, network protocols, and data recovery techniques. Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (HR, SCM, OMS) and external parties to gather information and facilitate reviews. Maintain a comprehensive archival repository of past investigations for future reference. Manage and resolve Data Loss Prevention (DLP) incidents, ensuring data integrity. Contribute to the development and implementation of fraud prevention strategies. Stay updated on the latest advancements in digital forensics and fraud investigation techniques through continuous learning. Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
Preferred candidate should have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree/ or specialization in digital forensics preferred). Certified in digital forensics (e.g.,
GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) ,
EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) , AccessData Certified Examiner,
Certified Forensic Security Responder (CFSR),
Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Certified Ethical Hacker(CEH)) or actively pursuing these certifications would be preferred 6 - 10 years of experience in digital forensics, fraud investigations, or a relevant field. Proven track record of successfully conducting complex investigations and closing cases. Extensive knowledge, understanding & ability to use digital forensics tools like Encase, FTK, Passware Forensic Kit, and Autopsy & eDiscovery tools like Intella, Relativity etc. Hands-on experience of working in an SAP environment.
