Role Overview:
Performance Marketing Manager


As the Performance Marketing Manager specializing in Google Shopping Ads, you will be at the forefront of our digital advertising strategy. You will manage and optimize high-budget campaigns, drive performance improvements, and contribute to our overall marketing success. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Campaign Management:
    Oversee and optimize Google Shopping Ads campaigns, including Product Listing Ads (PLAs), ensuring maximum performance and ROI.
  • Data Feed Management:
    Manage product feeds, optimize Merchant Center settings, and ensure data accuracy for effective campaign execution.
  • Analytical Insights:
    Utilize Google Analytics and other tools to track performance, conduct A/B testing, and provide actionable insights to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Strategic Development:
    Develop and execute strategies to improve key performance metrics such as CTR, CPA, and ROI, adapting to market trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Bid Management:
    Leverage bid management tools (e.G., Kenshoo, Marin, Google’s Smart Bidding) to optimize ad spend and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Reporting:
    Use Google Sheets/Excel for detailed reporting, including campaign analysis and performance metrics (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with creative, product, and analytics teams to align strategies and achieve business goals.
  • Leadership:
    Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Experience:
    Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Google Shopping Ads, managing high-budget campaigns ($50K+ monthly) for large-scale eCommerce brands.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    Advanced knowledge of Google Ads, product catalog management, data feed optimization, and proficiency in bid management tools. Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics and conversion tracking.
  • Strategic Abilities:
    Proven track record in developing and executing performance-driven strategies, with a focus on optimizing key metrics and adapting to market changes.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    Comfort with Google Sheets/Excel, audience segmentation, retargeting strategies, and familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.G., Shopify, Magento, Woo commerce) and data feed tools (e.G., DataFeedWatch).
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure and solve complex problems effectively.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    Google Ads Certifications (Shopping Ads and Search Ads) or additional certifications in performance marketing or eCommerce.
  • Educational Background:
    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred, but relevant work experience is also valued.
