Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting, with specific experience in the renewable energy sector. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles and the ability to apply them in the context of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and other sustainable initiatives.

Core Responsibilities  Financial Modelling & Analysis: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate the financial performance of renewable energy projects. Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and ROI calculations to support investment decisions. Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.  Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budget, providing variance analysis and actionable insights. Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate cost estimates and financial forecasts.  Investment Analysis: Perform detailed financial due diligence on potential renewable energy investments. Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Evaluate the financial viability of new projects, partnerships, and acquisitions.  Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, tax laws, and company policies. Support external audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.  Market Research & Industry Trends: Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the renewable energy sector. Analyze the impact of market dynamics on financial performance and investment strategies. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance in line with industry trends.  Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and project management. Provide financial support and guidance to project managers and business development teams. Participate in strategic planning and business development initiatives. Education Requirements  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.

Technical Skills and Experience Software Proficiency: MS Office Project Management: Experience in managing design projects from conception to implementation Ability to coordinate with other engineers and stakeholders Renewable Energy Systems: Understanding of solar energy systems and their integration into existing infrastructure

Experience At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in Renewable Energy Sector. (Consultancy and Analyst experience is highly preferred). Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software). Knowledge of renewable energy project financing, including PPAs, tax credits, and subsidies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, incentives, and market dynamics. Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software is preferred.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ideas and run with them from concept to conclusion. Technical understanding of clean energy business processes Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with superiors, peers, partners, and other stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and everchanging environment. Excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
