Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students in classes 1 to 6, following the CBSE curriculum guidelines.
- Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring a balance of reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain records of students’ performance.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, manage classroom behavior, and ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
- Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
- Professional Development: Participate in professional development programs to stay updated with the latest teaching methods, technologies, and CBSE curriculum changes.
- Extracurricular Activities: Encourage and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and school functions, fostering a sense of community and school spirit.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Certifications: Valid teaching certification in English (if applicable).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong organizational, motivational, and classroom management skills.
