The Enterprise Risk Management team at HCL is responsible for designing, administering and implementing a robust ERM program across the enterprise, which enables it to remain resilient and effective in meetings its business goals even during disruptive situations.


Scope of Work:


The incumbent will be part of the Risk and Compliance – ERM team

The candidate shall own Key Risk Management activities for the organization. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with internal and external stakeholders in ensuring the preparedness and compliance of the customers to stringent regulatory/contractual/policy requirements, in a timely and planned manner and coordinating response during BC events.


The ideal candidate should possess/be:

  • Understanding of international standards (COSO / ISO 31000) and associated compliance requirements.
  • Have a strong understanding of Risk Management domain. Prior understanding and experience in monitoring and tracking Risks & Non-Conformities would be an added advantage.
  • Hands on with Enterprise Risk Management framework and Implementation activities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders positively and logically convince stakeholders to take necessary actions.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to consolidate the data points, analyses and come up with meaningful insight to help make informed decision by the leadership team.
  • Be a self-starter with good inter personal skills and ability to work with multiple teams from delivery and enabling functions across locations.
  • Have good presentation, analytical, report writing and MIS skills.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own ERM framework and strategy execution, Lifecycle implementation
  • Create various Internal Reports and Dashboards using MS Office Tools
  • Follow-up on the status of corrective actions taken for key Business risks, control self-assessments
  • Track and report program compliance to R&C and functional leadership
  • Identify areas of improvement and suggest changes, if any, to functional leadership
  • Develop Thought Leadership and Case Studies for central Knowledge Database
  • Put controls in place to ensure work is recorded and tracked properly and reported accurately
  • Do independent analysis of data to come up with various cuts to help Sr. management with making informed decision with respect to aspects of the ERM Program
  • Organize and participate in review calls, preparing MoMs and following up on actions


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in driving Risk and Control Self-assessment activities.
  • Good hands on auditing, risk reporting, quality assurance and MIS/dashboard
  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders and ability to influence to get the required data on time
  • Excellent with Management Reporting, Reviews, Data Analytics
  • Seasoned in Stakeholder and Client Service management aspects
  • Hands-on experience in Policy management and Governance, Risk modelling, Risk sensing and Data analytics.
  • Good understanding and exposure to business operations in IT Application Support and Maintenance, Infrastructure, Business Process Services and Vendor Risk Management
  • Having experience in Risk Management related program implementation
  • Good knowledge of latest regulatory requirements in the industry / domain.
  • Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communications skills in English and be highly organized and action oriented.
  • Strongly collaborative and possess problem-solving skills.
  • Should be flexible with the work hours.
