ETL Tester (Python, SQL, Database Testing)

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled

ETL Tester

with a minimum of

5+ years

of experience in

ETL Testing

and

Database Testing . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with

Python automation ,

SQL query writing , and familiarity with

Unix environments . You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of data transformations and database systems through rigorous testing and validation processes. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive

ETL Testing

to validate data transformations, data quality, and accuracy across various systems. Conduct

Database Testing

using

Python automation

or extensive

Python programming

skills. Write complex

SQL queries

to validate database changes and ensure data integrity across systems like

Oracle

and

SQL Server Management Studio . Perform test planning,

test case creation , and

test script development

for effective test execution. Document and report defects, ensuring accurate and timely resolution. Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and provide input into

test execution

strategies. Manage and support

change management ,

incident management , and

release management

processes to ensure smooth deployment and release cycles. Ensure thorough understanding and execution of test processes, including planning, execution, and defect reporting. Mandatory Skills: 5+ years

of experience in

ETL Testing

and

Database Testing . Proficient in

Python

programming or automation using Python. Strong experience in writing and executing complex

SQL queries . Familiarity with

Unix environments

for testing and debugging purposes. Hands-on experience with

Oracle

and

SQL Server Management Studio . Good exposure to

test planning ,

test case creation ,

test execution , and

defect reporting . Desired Skills: Strong analytical and debugging skills. Experience with

Change Management ,

Incident Management , and

Release Management

processes.
