Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer at Makoons Group of Schools, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our in-house ERP system. You will work closely with the IT and academic teams to ensure the smooth operation of the ERP, fix bugs, and implement new features that enhance user experience across all our locations.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of the Makoons ERP system. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs to ensure system stability and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including performance marketing, admissions, and academic departments, to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet the organization's needs. Manage and guide a team of software developers to enhance ERP functionality and optimize system performance. Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and ensure adherence to best software development practices. Stay updated with the latest technology trends and continuously improve the ERP system to meet the dynamic needs of the institution.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in ERP systems. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP. Strong experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar. Familiarity with cloud-based services and DevOps processes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
