Ove last one year, BHS has developed an in-depth understanding of mental health needs, coping mechanisms and beliefs of the communities we serve. We believe that meeting mental health needs in the communities require a combination of social, psychological and clinical interventions, integrate within the primary healthcare framework. We have designed, adapted and initiated implementation of suitable interventions through our network of primary care providers and volunteers across the three AMRIT Clinics.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead, Mental Health will be responsible for implementing the community mental health initiative, with support of a Fellow Mental Health, and community empowerment team across the catchment areas that BHS serves. They will be responsible for building capacity of the community empowerment team and volunteers in mental health assessment and response, prepare and implement a monitoring, evaluation and learning plan;
document evolution of the program and develop networks and resources.
Whom are we looking for?
We are looking for interested colleague with suitable academic (Masters in public health/clinical psychology/psychiatric social work/ MSW with concentration in mental health) and professional (worked for at-least 2-3 years in community settings on mental health initiative) experience to join and lead our team in this effort. Other attributes that we value are working in interdisciplinary teams and ability to live and work in different settings.
Location :
The position is located in Udaipur district, with frequent travel and stay in field areas of South Rajasthan.
