Finance & Accounts Executive

Primary Role:

The primary role includes managing GST and direct tax compliance, finalizing financial statements, preparing tax reports, and overseeing budgets and working capital. Responsibilities also involve reconciling accounts, handling import payments, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Additional tasks may be assigned as and when needed.

Job Description:

GST Compliance:

• Files returns such as GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 9, and 9C.
• Perform ITC reconciliation vis-à-vis GSTR 2A and 2B.
• Manage E-Invoicing, E-way bill provisions, and Bill-to-ship-to transactions.

Direct Tax Management:

• Handle Direct Tax matters including TDS, Income Tax returns, and assessments.
• Prepare and file Tax Audit Reports and ITR 6.

Financial Reporting:

• Finalize financial statements including Balance Sheet, Statement of Profit & Loss, Cash Flow Statement, and Notes to Accounts in compliance with Indian GAAP.
• Prepare depreciation charts as per Companies Act, 2013, and Income Tax Act.

Budgeting & Financial Management:

• Manage budgets, working capital, and prepare CMA data.
• Handle buyer's credit, letters of credit (LCs), and MIS reporting.

Reconciliation:

• Reconcile Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables.

Import Payments & Compliance:

• Manage import payments for goods and services, including related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with DTAA provisions and file 15CA.

Job Specification:

The Ideal candidate must have

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Hands-on experience of using accounting software & Knowledge of E-Invoicing, E-way bills, and import payment documentation.
• Extensive knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and Indian GAAP.
• SAP knowledge and hands on experience is preferred.

Qualification:

• Minimum M.Com/CA Inter with 5+ years of experience in taxation, financial reporting, and compliance.
• CA/ICWA/CMA or relevant finance/accounting degree are preferred

Experience:

3-6 years

Additional Skills :

• Proven experience in handling GST, Income Tax, and finalization of financial statements.
• Experience in managing budgets, working capital, and financial reporting.
