We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. As we continue to scale, the CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the company, driving growth, and ensuring long-term sustainability.Job Description:As the CFO at Palms, you will oversee all financial aspects of the company, ensuring the efficient management of resources to support business growth and profitability. You will work closely with the CEO, COO, and other senior executives to create financial strategies that align with our business goals. Your financial leadership and insight will be crucial in driving the company forward, ensuring robust financial health, and supporting operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Financial Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to support the company's short-term and long-term goals.Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure effective cost management and profitability.Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement effective strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company's financial security.Capital Allocation: Manage capital allocation, including investments and resource allocation, to ensure optimal returns and support business expansion.Cash Flow Management: Ensure strong cash flow management, optimizing working capital and liquidity to support day-to-day operations and future growth.Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards.Cost Optimization: Drive initiatives to optimize costs across all departments, ensuring efficient use of resources.Investor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with investors and financial institutions, ensuring transparency and clear communication of financial performance.Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.Requirements:Must be a Certified Chartered Accountant (CA) with proven experience in a senior financial leadership role.Extensive experience in financial management, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing finance team.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Proven experience in strategic financial planning and execution in a manufacturing or consumer goods company, preferably in the footwear or apparel industry.Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance, and corporate governance.Experience in managing investor relations and raising capital is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
