In a nutshell, what will I do every day in this role? On a daily basis you will help to support the general operations of the People team. Acting as a single point of contact for employees to help guide them to where they need to be in order to become self- sufficient. You will have a hand in the design and implementation of various HR systems and programs and will get to see the mark you make on a regular basis. This role will support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to comp and ben to job descriptions and org design. Responsibilities for this role: Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and managers in the United States and Canada. Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage the employee onboarding and offboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations, processing paperwork, and coordinating exit interviews. Collaborate with the HR team to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for US and Canadian employees, including reviewing timesheets, deductions, and taxes. Maintain HRIS data integrity by accurately updating employee records, monitoring system changes, and generating reports as needed. Support employee relations initiatives by providing guidance on HR policies and procedures, conducting investigations, and resolving employee concerns, employee engagement activities. Assist with compliance efforts by staying current on federal, state, and provincial employment laws and regulations applicable to the US and Canada. Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall HR function and business objectives. Working hours would be 7 pm to 4 am IST Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3+ years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a multinational organization with exposure to US and Canadian employment laws (Must have) Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, payroll processing, and benefits administration. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive etc.)
