Key Responsibilities :
  • Fundraising Strategy :
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet organizational goals.
  • Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities including individual donors, corporate partnerships, CSR initiatives, foundations, and international donors.
  • Lead efforts to secure grants and sponsorships for ongoing and new projects.
  • Donor Relations :
  • Manage relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
  • Design and execute donor engagement plans, including regular updates, impact reports, and recognition initiatives.
  • Oversee donor database management and ensure accurate records of donations and pledges.
  • CSR and Compliance :
  • Leverage Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) opportunities under the Indian Companies Act.
  • Engage with corporates to drive CSR funding and partnerships in alignment with SOCH’s goals and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to CSR and donor funding.
  • Event and Campaign Management :
  • Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, donor events, and corporate engagement initiatives.
  • Lead the design and execution of annual giving campaigns, online fundraising initiatives, and special fundraising events.
  • Reporting and Communication :
  • Create compelling proposals, reports, and presentations for potential donors and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to develop marketing materials that support fundraising efforts, such as brochures, newsletters, and social media content.
  • Provide regular updates to management on fundraising progress, donor relations, and pipeline development.
  • Team Collaboration :
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including programs, finance, and communications, to align donor activities with organizational priorities.
  • Train and mentor staff in donor relations and fundraising best practices.


Required Qualifications and Skills :
  • Master’s degree in Fundraising, Marketing, Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of securing high-value donations and grants.
  • Strong knowledge of CSR laws in India and experience leveraging corporate partnerships for fundraising.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and inspire donors.
  • Experience in designing and executing successful fundraising campaigns.
  • Ability to create detailed financial and narrative reports for donors.
  • Proficiency in donor management software and CRM tools.
  • Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience in the non-profit sector, particularly in child welfare or social development.
  • Established network with corporates, foundations, and individual donors.
  • Experience working with international donors or development organizations.
