Global Supply Manager – Online Panels


Job Summary:

The Supply Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of vendors/ supply and supply activities of the Online Panels Team. This role involves managing supplier relationships, optimizing supply levels, ensuring timely delivery of services, and implementing cost-saving measures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply operations. Being an expert in vendor management, this role expects the candidate to be able to bring new partners/ vendors as-well as strategic long-term partnerships.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Vendor and Supplier Coordination:
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with market research vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor and address any issues related to vendor service delivery.
  • Manage costs as an integral part of strategy with vendors.
  • Manage Delivery as a critical part of the role through dedicated vendor relationships.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets related to market research projects in the market and costs through negotiations.
  • Track vendor expense costs and implement cost-saving measures where applicable.
  • Prepare Vendor reports and forecasts related to market research supply needs.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of supply processes with dedicated vendor relationships and acquiring new vendors to expand base of supply partners for strategic pricing needs.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance data quality delivery from vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  1. Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with Online Panels Team and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure they are met on time.
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams and external suppliers to resolve any issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide training and support to team members regarding the use of research tools and resources.
  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Monitor and report on the performance of market research vendors and their services.
  • Analyze trends and metrics related to supply performance and QC/ audit outcomes in addition to margins.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on supply data to support strategic decision-making.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Experience:
    At least 4+ years experience in Vendor Management, Supply Management, Global Network Management in Online Market Research in a Supervisory or Lead role managing vendors/ partners globally.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in data management tools, market research software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Analytical Skills:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with vendors, API partners, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Attention to Detail:
    High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing data and resources.
