What you’ll do at Ather: Obtain approvals from various government bodies for upcoming projects and own all liaison-based tasks connected with our area of operations. Liaise with major regulatory bodies as per the needs of the project Ensure that all government-related approvals are obtained on time for various upcoming projects and ensure the timely release of various incentives, rebates, and other benefits for the manufacturing site. Manage relationships with key stakeholders while also ensuring that key compliance processes are followed. External Stakeholder Management & Dispute Handling Assist in figuring out the best possible solutions for various problems and obtaining permission to implement the solutions expeditiously. Serve on the GR team to lead government-related initiatives that impact the company's interest in business assigned to this position. Work with the factory leadership team to lead and coordinate policy priorities Develop policy positions, support thought leadership materials on GR issues that enhance the organisation's position in the market. Develop and lead advocacy on priority issues and engage leadership on public policy/regulatory advocacy efforts Identify at an early stage, quantify and prioritise emerging regulations and legislation that will affect the business and ensure business awareness of the potential risks and benefits. Engage with government officials and other relevant external stakeholders, at all appropriate levels, to enhance their understanding of the organisation’s products, services and positions and promote policies that enhance and protect the organisation’s products and services. Participate in industry association meetings and drive business activity on priority issues. Work with legal counsel and business leaders to secure regulatory approvals needed to execute commercial priorities. Keep a close watch on impending changes in pertinent legislation/regulation and or government incentive schemes. Help the businesses, and secure government support (e.g. financial incentives, pending dues) that helps in meeting the business goals Develop business engagement and partnerships with internal stakeholders and support functions to drive business outcomes and continuous improvement in the Corporate Affairs function.

Here’s what we are looking for: Should be well conversed in written Marathi, Hindi, English and be competent to reply to official letters in Marathi, Hindi and English. Communicate with concerned government departments. Willing to travel especially Western and Southern India. Presence of mind - a combination of situational awareness and an ability to proactively address concerns and anticipate issues based on the available information. Be able to handle official paperwork and government files. Establish rapport and build relationships with external and internal stakeholders. Willingness to work in cross functional teams to achieve common goals

You bring to Ather: Degree level qualification Competent IT skills including Office suite 8+ years of experience in a Govt function either at an agency, corporate or manufacturing setup Prior experience of working with Government Institutions and Departments, Government Offices, Ministries
