Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hardware Design Engineer at Clean Electric in Pune.

  • We are looking for a stellar Embedded Hardware Design Engineer to join our Battery Research and Development team. The responsibilities would include design projects as well as support to existing production products related to our in-house developed Battery Management System, BESS and Telematics Unit.
  • Eagerness to get your hands dirty, to design, test, and iterate quickly is critical.
  • The ideal candidate would not look at responsibility boundaries or scope of work but push relentlessly to ensure a quality product, on-time. A sense of pride and ownership in the product is a must.
  • Good understanding of analog, digital and mixed signal circuit
  • Hardware and System design knowledge using different Micro controllers
  • Working knowledge on IOT, Industrial, EV Application- BMS, DC-DC, Battery Charger etc.
  • Have fundamental knowledge in electronic component design, power semi-conductor devices (Mosfets, IGBTs, Diodes) characteristics, critical parameters of IC and Semi-conductor data-sheets
  • Have knowledge in component selection and validation
  • Ability to understand schematics, PCB design, and validation and verification
  • Experience in handling common lab equipment's such signal oscilloscopes, power supply, multimeter, spectrum analyzer
  • Understanding of Hands on experience in testing electronic PCB board and in troubleshooting of boards


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Hardware Development, Electronics Hardware Design, and Hardware Design skills
  • Circuit Design and Hardware Architecture skills
  • Experience in designing and implementing hardware systems
  • Knowledge of battery technology and power electronics
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • +2 years of experience on Electric vehicle related product is preferred
