3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the

Deputy Director - Program Design & Quality,

The

Head – Content & Resources

shall be responsible for leading the establishment and operation of the academics vertical, driving its inception and overseeing its functioning. The Incumbent will be setting up and managing a streamlined content production pipeline, ensuring efficiency and high standards. S/he will be in-charge of developing academic content for a

learning program across multiple states, while also crafting a forward-thinking vision for content and teacher training within the vertical.

Keeping abreast of policy changes in the educational system, the Incumbent translates these into actionable strategies. Understanding academic requirements deeply, and devising strategies to enhance system capacity, utilizing user insights and data to continuously refine our approach. Innovation will be central to this role, integrating AI into content creation and training initiatives, fostering efficiency and effectiveness. The incumbent expected to maintain a steadfast commitment to upholding academic integrity, ensuring all activities align with ethical standards and best practices.

S/he would be working in close collaboration of Internally,

Subject leads, Technical Specialist, Dy Director Program Design and Quality, Associate Director - Research, Impact and Quality and Dy Director – Quality Implementation

and shall also be responsible for collaboration with external stakeholders like

State(s) & District counterparts (Government & Non- Government), Knowledge Partners, Consultants, and Partner agencies.

Key Deliverable:

(A)

Content Strategy and Development: (1) Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with organizational goals; (2) Oversee the creation, review, and optimization of content across various platforms and formats; (3) Ensure content quality, consistency, standards & adherence to the state requirements.

(B)

Content Creation Pipeline: (1) Establish and manage a content creation pipeline, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content; (2) Implement workflows and tools to streamline content creation, reviewing, and training; (3) Monitor content creation metrics and optimize workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.

(C)

Content Optimization and Performance: (1) Analyze content performance metrics and user feedback to optimize content strategy; (2) Implement SEO best practices and leverage analytics to drive content improvements; (3) Stay updated on industry trends and audience preferences to inform content decisions. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for resource creation and utilization; (4) Implement processes to track and optimize resource efficiency.

(D)

Cross-functional Collaboration: (1) Internally collaborate with Technical Specialist, Experts, DD- Program Design and Quality, Associate Director - Research, Impact and Quality and DD- Quality Implementation; (2) State(s) & District counterparts (Government & Non- Government), Knowledge Partners, consultants and collaboration with and technical support to affiliate organizations on a regular basis is also expected; (3) Communicate effectively across departments to ensure content meets strategic objectives.

Quality Assurance and Compliance: (1) Ensure content complies with legal and regulatory requirements, including copyright and data protection laws; (2) Maintain high standards for accuracy, clarity, and tone across all content; (3) Conduct regular checks and reviews to uphold quality and compliance standards.

(F)

Innovation and Adaptation : (1) Drive innovation in content creation and delivery, exploring new formats, technologies, and platforms; (2) Adapt content strategies based on emerging trends, user behavior, and education systems dynamics; (3) Experiment with new approaches to engage and resonate with target audiences.

(G)

Reporting and Analysis: (1) Prepare and present regular reports on content performance, including KPIs, insights, and recommendations; (2) Use data-driven insights to iterate and improve content strategy and planning; (3) Monitor industry benchmarks and competitive landscape to benchmark performance and identify opportunities.

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications and Experience: (1) Master's in Education or in specific subject (Science, English, and Mathematics), B.Ed., M. Ed or equivalent; (2) At least 6-7 years of experience in education, with a notable focus on leading academic content development in the secondary space; (3) Experience in developing education resources including lesson plans, teachers handbooks, training material, digital content, teaching and learning resources; (4) Demonstrated technical knowledge of the following areas in the context of education: content creation, education management, in-service and pre-service training, pedagogy, accelerated learning programs, student learning assessments and improvements in the quality of teaching and learning.

Skills and Competencies: (1) Excellent project management, content development, systems thinking, and data driven decision making, communication skills; (2) A passion for creative problem-solving and enthusiasm; (3) Excellent in writing education resources/research papers including implementation, training, teaching and learning resources; (4) Knowledge of content innovations, policy trends and innovations in education; (5) Alignment with Transform Schools’ priorities; (6) A sense of humor and patience.

6. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

The gross compensation budgeted for the position ranges between Rs. 10 to 13.5 lacs per annum. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

7. NATURE OF APPOINTMENT:

The

Head – Content and Resources

will be engaged under a 12-month consultancy agreement, which may be extended depending on the project requirements and the consultant's performance.
