in Alang Ship Recycling Yard, Alang, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. This position requires to be based in Alang to make sure the ship recycling facility runs in compliance with various ship recycling regulations.
Job description: Monitoring of compliance with legislative and other requirements (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 45001:2018, ISO 30000:2009, Hong-Kong Convention for Ship Recycling etc.). Finding ways to help reduce the impact of our business activities in our surrounding environment. To work on project that influence the full scale of our operations , from supporting the application of new technologies, to collaboration with our clients and working tirelessly to prevent on-site accidents. To provide HSE trainings, conduct Mock drills at regular basis for our work force. To protect and promote the health of our employees, contractors. To conduct fitness to work assessments, medical surveillance, first aid, medical or environment emergency response preparedness and planning and job based risk assessment. To prepare detailed weekly, fortnightly, monthly and annual reports for our clients. To conduct internal audits as per the schedule. To work with our sub-contractors for preparing of VSCP and sample analysis for additional sampling. Be an integral part of the HSE team and provide assistance to hazmat handlers for Identification, Removal and Disposal. Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, surveyors/auditors, the general workforce and the clients (if required) involved in the project.

Requirements:
Any graduate or post graduate in fire and safety engineering. NEBOSH Member of IOSH or similar professional body. Very good Computer Skills. Good knowledge of English is required. Proficient english writing skills. An English medium student.
Experience: Work Experience of a minimum of 2 years but motivation to the T. Knowledge of following standards of ISO i.e. ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 30000:2009 as well as of Hong-Kong Convention for Ship Recycling, European Union Ship Recycling Regulation is an advantage.
