Job Summary: As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a critical role in developing automated tests, frameworks, and tools to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. You will collaborate closely with our development and QA teams to design, implement, and execute tests that will help deliver robust and reliable software.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and JavaScript. Create and execute test cases and test plans for new and existing features. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Cypress and Selenium. Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution. Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios. Perform code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and testability. Continuously improve test automation practices and contribute to the overall testing strategy. Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and provide testing insights. Monitor and analyze test results, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvements. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in test automation.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an SDET or similar role in software testing and automation. Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Cypress and Selenium. Solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies. Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with performance and load testing tools. Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, etc.). Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured). Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure). ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing.
