Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to oversee the human resources function in our medium-sized educational institution. As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our HR processes, policies, and programs to ensure the effective functioning of the institution's workforce.

Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the institution's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify HR priorities and initiatives.
  • Forecast HR needs and plan for recruitment, training, and talent development.
  • Recruitment and Selection:
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process for teaching and non-teaching positions.
  • Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Ensure a fair and efficient selection process, including screening, interviewing, and finalizing job offers.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote effective communication.
  • Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external trainers to deliver training sessions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
  • Policy Development and Compliance:
  • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal and organizational standards.
  • HR Analytics and Reporting:
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide reports to senior management.
  • Utilize HR analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for enhancing HR practices and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or a similar HR leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and labor laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
