HRIS Specialist (SuccessFactors)

Role Accountabilities

System support

  • Oversees and maintains the optimal function of the HRIS, which may include, new system implementation, customization, development, configuration, maintenance, upgrades to the systems, ensuring the compliance & governance of permissions and processes are met, and the documentation of modifications.
  • Evaluate and access impact of SuccessFactors HRIS system releases quarterly and apply system releases into UAT environment, test and move to production. Communicate changes in system releases.
  • Work with various HR stakeholder and System administrators in other operation companies on continuous business and system process improvements to meet the desired business needs and efficiencies of the overall processes.
  • Manage basic activities on the system for COE’s requiring key form management and report generation.
  • Oversee and coordinate with system administrators in other operation companies to ensure that project objective and deliverables are achieved within the desired timelines.
  • Configuration of the System, patch, and permissions maintenance. Supporting all legacy HR systems and developing further usage of the Intranet to disseminate key information.


HRIS Governance

  • Responsible for HRIS compliance and governance with other operating companies. Hold regular meetings with system administrators in other operation companies to evaluate the change impacts & risk for projects and updates.
  • Review all HR Systems user’s access twice a year in May and Nov. Work with HRBPs on the annual reviews to ensure compliance.


System Vendor Management

Main point of contact for 3rd party vendor where HR system are concerned. Negotiation of addition scope of work for 3rd party vendor. Management and escalation of issues to 3rd party vendor.

  • Make every effort to attend any relevant training, simulations and or meetings relating to Crisis Management.
  • Perform your role as best as possible in a calm and collaborative manner in line with the relevant policy and procedures in the event of a Crisis.
  • Provide input and feedback towards the ongoing improvement of the Crisis Management framework and procedure.


Safety

  • Lead and advocate the company Zero Harm Onshore safety agenda within the region.

Key Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology/Information System/Human Resources or related qualification with 3-5 years of HR system experience


Technical Skills

  • Key knowledge and experience with SAP SuccessFactors and ideally with Employee Central experience.
  • Significant experience with administering multiple HR systems (ie Qualtrics and managing HR system projects and experience with managing HR system vendor relationships.
  • Knowledge of HR processes including employee data management, recruitment, on boarding, performance management, compensation, learning and leave management


Professional Skills

  • A fast learner with analytical skills and a talent for learning new systems, navigating IT infrastructures and emerging technologies the HR space.
  • Comfortable communicator, used to translating technical language into understandable information that can be digested by non-technical colleagues.
