Job Summary:


We are looking for a proactive and creative Industrial Designer to join our Product Development team. This role involves not only designing but also actively managing projects from concept through to production. You will be crucial in ensuring that our designs are realized with the highest quality and efficiency, requiring regular visits to our OEM manufacturers for follow-ups and to expedite the production process.


Key Responsibilities:


- Design and develop innovative concepts for manual and electric water guns with a focus on functionality, user engagement, and safety.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design specifications into tangible products, ensuring alignment with company standards and market needs.

- Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends and integrate consumer insights into product designs.

- Create detailed design documents using CAD software and develop prototypes for internal evaluation and user testing.

- Regularly visit OEM manufacturers to oversee the production process, address and resolve manufacturing issues, and ensure products meet quality standards.

- Act as the main point of contact between the company and manufacturers, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on schedule.

- Prepare and present detailed reports and design validations to stakeholders and executive management.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, new technologies, and child safety regulations.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.

- At least 3-5 years of experience in product design, with a strong preference for experience in the toy industry or consumer goods.

- High proficiency in CAD software (e.G., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and prototype development.

- Excellent project management skills and experience managing production with OEM manufacturers.

- Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working closely with both internal teams and external partners.

- Willingness to travel regularly to manufacturer sites to ensure project requirements are met.

- Passionate about creating safe, engaging, and innovative toys.
