Manager/Deputy Manager IT
Responsible for:
Internal & External IT and SAP B1 consultants. Web and Mobile application administration.
Interacts with:
Commercial & Operations staff to ensure correct data entry;
Heads of Department Managers and Managing Director & CFO for reporting requirements.
Role and responsibilities.
Reporting to the MD & CFO, you will be responsible for design and implementation of reports on all aspects of the business.
You will support all departments in the reporting process and the broader daily routine / domain specific working process. You will also identify areas of SAP B1 which are under-performance and coordinate with Internal & External Teams to adapt to the needs of a structured ERP based working system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage the SAP B1 implementation at Lotus Dairy .
- Ensure that the stated goals of the ERP project are fully implemented;
- Manage and maintain the organization's web & mobile application, ensuring that it is up-to-date, properly functioning, and visually correct.
- Regularly monitor web & mobile application performance, conduct audits, and implement necessary improvements to ensure optimal speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Regularly updates the data related to business operations and users profiles for internal and external users.
- Maintaining and managing user passwords by implementing strong and effective password policy
- Collaborate with the developers and designers to implement web & mobile application enhancements, updates, and new features as needed.
- Perform regular backups of the web & mobile application and maintain a disaster recovery plan to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
- Optimize web & mobile application data, content, metadata, and connectivity to manage high traffic to the web & mobile application.
- Monitor web & mobile application analytics and generate reports to track key performance indicators, such as data movement, traffic, conversion rates, and user engagement.
- Ensure web & mobile application security by implementing appropriate measures, such as SSL certificates, firewalls, port scanning and regular vulnerability scanning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve web & mobile application issues, such as data issues, updations issues, error messages, user level issues and other usability problems.
- Providing excel support and data management support;
- Ensure all important reports run directly from SAP, avoiding double-handling of data;
- Ensure the customization modules runs properly in SAP
- Safety & Security aspects for ERP & Database;
- General changesto the look and feel of SAP (changes to the UI set-up such as dashboards, form layouts, printing, preference, alerts, etc.)
- Small modifications to all parts of SAP in coordination with external consultant (adding fields, renaming fields, writing small amounts of code / queries to alter functionality / report, etc.).
- Coordinate with SAP Developer to provide the right data and reports to managers.
- Act as the in-house expert and supporter for SAP B1.
- Resolve SAP related queries raised by managers and colleagues and if required coordinate with external parties;
- Coordinate withexternal developers for design and implement a range of SAP B1 reports and queries to update current reports and KPI dashboards.
- Quickly capture and document business requirements for new and changing business dynamics and translate these to actionable IT solutions.
- Verify data when required, reviewing all reports for accuracy, investigate and providing solutions for any data issues.
- Based on a high-level understanding of Lotus Dairy’s business, ensure our business intelligence system meets industry requirements and best practices.
- Perform ad hoc maintenance, reporting and analysis as required for all the aspects related SAP B1.
- Manipulate complex data sets from multiple sources to provide data to and from SAP B1.
- Proactively provide suggestions for enhanced performance.

Required experience and skills
- Bachelor's\ Master’s degree in Computer Science\ Information Technology, or arelated field.
- 10+ years experience in managing IT Department of an organization
- 3+ years of experience working with SAP Business One and Basics knowledge of Crystal Reports are essential.
- Expertise in SQL, SQL Queries, VBA, SAP Business Objects and Excel.
- Basic knowledge in web development languages, such as HTML, CSS, Python and JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL database management system and experience in managing and updating web & mobile applications using these platforms.
- Understanding of web server configurations and experience with OS platforms such as Linux & Windows.
- Familiarity with Sales, Order, Distributor and Logistics Management and Reporting tools is a plus.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful web & mobile application administration and management along with data management.
- Ability to cope with rapidly changing demands on time and prioritize jobs according to urgency.
- Strong analytical and computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to influence all levels of an organization.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders of all levels.
