Information Technology Project Manager

Purpose We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee the IT setup management, timebound delivery, project management, and budget management for our green field project in the Power/Energy industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the power/energy sector and possess exceptional IT management skills to drive efficient and effective IT operations. Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on power/energy industry projects. Roles and Responsibilities · Manage the IT setup for the green field project, ensuring seamless integration of systems and infrastructure. · Drive timebound delivery of IT solutions and services to meet project milestones and organizational objectives. · Lead and execute IT project management activities, including planning, execution, and evaluation of project initiatives. · Develop and oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines. Education Qualification Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Certification required Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) and IT management (ITIL, CISM, or equivalent) would be advantageous. Behavioural Skills · Strong leadership and team management abilities. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Technical Skills · Proven experience in IT setup management for large-scale projects in the power/energy industry. · Demonstrated expertise in IT project management, including risk assessment, quality assurance, and stakeholder management. · Comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems. Non-Negotiable Skills · IT setup management for power/energy industry projects. · IT project management with a focus on timebound delivery. · Budget management for IT operations in large-scale projects.
