Hiring for Business Analyst – Process Automation (RPA) - Automation Anywhere Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-Time 6 Days WFO Role Overview: The Business Analyst – Process Automation (RPA) will be responsible for working across various Business Units to gather requirements, identify opportunities for automation, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. The role requires deep collaboration with both technical teams and business users to ensure seamless implementation of Automation solutions using Auromation Anywhere. The candidate will also be a key advocate for RPA, educating business users on its potential, generating reports, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities: 1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis: • Collaborate with Business Unit heads and key stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for process automation initiatives. • Conduct in-depth process analysis to identify workflows that are ideal candidates for automation. • Work closely with process owners to document current state processes (AS-IS) and define target automation processes (TO-BE). 2. Stakeholder Communication: • Serve as the bridge between business users, IT teams, and the automation development team, ensuring clear and consistent communication. • Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, challenges, and timelines to all relevant stakeholders. • Organize and facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to discuss automation use cases, roadmaps, and project outcomes. 3. Automation Opportunity Identification: • Conduct RPA feasibility assessments for different business processes within various BUs. • Identify automation opportunities that align with business goals and can deliver high ROI. • Prioritize automation projects based on impact, complexity, and potential for process improvement. 4. Business Case Development: • Develop and present compelling business cases for automation projects, demonstrating clear value and potential cost savings. • Assist in creating project plans, outlining timelines, resource needs, and milestones for each automation project. 5. Enlightening Business Users on RPA: • Educate business users on the capabilities and benefits of Robotic Process Automation. • Conduct training sessions, demos, and presentations to enhance awareness and adoption of RPA across the organization. • Serve as an internal RPA evangelist, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. 6. Documentation & Reporting: • Develop detailed process documentation, including process flows, requirements, and automation specifications. • Generate reports and dashboards that highlight automation performance metrics, including process efficiency gains, cost savings, and productivity improvements. • Prepare executive summaries and presentations for senior management to demonstrate the value and progress of automation initiatives. 7. Support & Collaboration: • Work closely with automation developers to ensure that all business requirements are clearly understood and incorporated into the automation design. • Provide post-implementation support to ensure that automation solutions are delivering the expected results. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and finance, to drive seamless automation execution. Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications in Business Analysis or RPA are a plus. Experience: 6-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on process automation using Automation Anywhere or other RPA tools. • Technical Skills: • Proven experience with Automation Anywhere • Strong understanding of process mapping, re-engineering, and optimization. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of various business functions (e.g., finance, HR, supply chain) and their process improvement needs. Ability to work with complex datasets to perform process analysis and develop automation use cases. Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex processes into manageable steps and identify areas for automation. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Presentation Skills: Proficient in creating and delivering presentations to senior management and business users. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks in automation projects. Collaboration: A team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
