Job Summary:

The Inventory Management Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control within the EPC company. This role involves ensuring that all inventory is appropriately ordered, received, stored, and distributed in alignment with project schedules and requirements. The manager will implement and maintain systems to track inventory levels and ensure optimal inventory availability while minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Control :
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Oversee the accurate recording of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and distributions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as necessary to meet project requirements.
  1. Supply Chain Coordination :
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams to align inventory levels with project schedules.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  1. Inventory Audits and Reporting :
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present inventory reports, including inventory valuation, stock turnover rates, and obsolescence analysis.
  1. Warehouse Management :
  • Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
  • Ensure proper organization and labeling of inventory in the warehouse.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols in the warehouse.
  1. System Management :
  • Implement and manage inventory management systems (ERP systems).
  • Train and support staff in using inventory management software.
  1. Cost Control :
  • Analyze inventory costs and develop strategies to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Work with the finance team to manage budget allocations for inventory.
  1. Compliance and Safety :
  • Ensure all inventory practices comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Implement and enforce safety standards in inventory management and warehouse operations.
  1. Team Leadership :
  • Lead and mentor the inventory management team.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the EPC industry.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems and ERP software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
