Requirement:

  • The applicant should have demonstrated an affinity for corporate laws and securities regulations, in particular, regulations framed by SEBI and the IFSCA, during the course of the law degree.
  • Internships in reputed corporate law firms


General Responsibility:


  • Drafting the private placement memorandum and other fund documents required to set up alternative investment funds (“AIF”) that are registered with SEBI or IFSCA;
  • Liaising with SEBI and IFSCA to set up AIFs;
  • Providing opinions and legal advice on SEBI and IFSCA regulations for AIFs, PMS, investment Advisers and research analysts;
  • Advising investors in AIFs;
  • Carrying out audits of AIFs;
    and
  • Providing tax advice for AIFs and their investors.
  • In addition to working on Funds, the trainees may occasionally be involved in allied matters, for the corporate, banking/finance or capital markets teams
  • ELP is geography agnostic and though the new hires will be based in ELP’s GIFT City office, they will be involved in work arising from any of ELP’s eight offices across the country.
