Sr Java Developer

Experience - 3 years to 7 years (Immediate Joining)

About Position

OPENSPACE is looking for a technically savvy and experienced technical resource to serve as the java developer and be a part of a growing team of strong developers. With your technical expertise you will manage priorities, deadlines and deliverables, identify risks and communicate them to the right people. You will develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance the application that exceed client expectations in terms of value and benefit.

Skill Sets

• Mandatory:
  Micro Services, Java-spring Boot, Rest Full API Development, ReactJS, MySQL,

AWS

• Nice to have:
  Spring-Eureka, Kafka, Server-less Programming, Redis

Responsibilities

• End-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and enhancement

efforts

• Manage tasks using a project management tool and follow up with specific owners to deliver components of the project on time
• Follow up with fellow team member and making sure about their and team work update to

the Team Leads

• Create a technical specification document and systems integration requirements document
• Work with external contractors and service providers to lead the development of end to end

solution design and development

• Present Work status and issues to reporting manager on a regular and consistent basis in

regular status reporting and status meetings

• Understand and coach/teach others, show high level of ethics and teamwork

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Info Systems or

related field

• 3+ years of experience in scalable and distributed applications design and development, also hands on experience in designing and managing software products in the JAVA Frameworks
• Excellent coding skills in Java
• Expertise in common frameworks like RESTful Web Services, Spring, Spring Boot, Groovy on

Grails & Hibernate, etc.

• Experience in managing, implementing and optimizing databases solution such as MySQL,

MongoDB, etc.

• Demonstrable experience in front-end tools and technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript,

jQuery, etc)

• Experience of Redis or MemChache implementations is preferred.
• Experience in building the configuration details for installation, deployment and

configuration of cloud automation solutions on AWS

• Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures,

algorithms and software design

• Proven ability to drive large scale projects with deep understanding of Agile SDLC, high

collaboration and leadership.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, judgment and decision making skills, and

the ability to work under continual deadline pressure.

• Professional certifications will be added advantage.
