Java Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities: Work with geographically distributed teams, with ample opportunity to learn from and mentor teammates in a fast-paced environment. Play a key role in the future of software products by working closely with product management and other stakeholders to aid solution development. Provide support for Service Availability, Stability and application performance! Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors. Design and develop software applications and application components in an agile environment! Create high-quality software by conducting peer design/code reviews and developing automated test cases! Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 6+ years of relevant software development experience Experience developing Microservices in Java using Spring framework/Spring Boot Experience in deploying applications to AWS or Azure cloud platforms and leveraging managed services on the cloud Sound fundamentals of Core Java and technically hands-on and excellent in Design, Coding and Testing Must have worked on the CI/CD tools - Jenkins, Git/GitHub/subversion or any code versioning tool, Gradle, and any of the AWS cloud platform, Java, NodeJs Solid experience developing web applications on the Java platform (Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web Services) Experience with front-end technology Reactjs Experience with Micro services Experience in providing technical guidance and inculcating engineering best practices within development teams
