Responsibilities

Sales responsibility and promotion of Bruker’s Microbiology & Infection Diagnostic business in India in accordance with the company strategy, including MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and FT-IR spectroscopy instrumentation, sample preparation robotics and kits, bioinformatics software and consumables. Reporting to the APAC Regional Director for Microbiology & Infection Diagnostics; the primary objectives are to raise the profile of the company in the microbiology and diagnostics community (Clinical and Industry), present the products in a competitive way and ensure customer satisfaction during and post-sale. Manage the Microbiology & Infection Diagnostics sales in India:Channel and control the activities for constant growth.Responsible for managing and driving the annual business plan for M&ID sales.Support the existing distribution channels. Execute an own quota of M&ID new order bookings for India by:Finding new customers in clinical and industrial settings using a variety of tools ranging from personal networking to internet searches.Stimulate demand to increase consumer willingness and ability to purchase innovative solutions for microbial identifications.Contributing to marketing activities such as advertisements and mailings.Qualifying potential sales leads by discussion with and understanding of the customer’s needs. Arrange Exhibitions and Seminars in India. Maintain a relationship with existing customers and manage post-sale activities. Hold regular meetings with local counterparts of key Bruker distributors. Market observation and analysis, as well as the active reception of customer demands and interests, which may lead to an improvement of our solutions and offerings.

Qualifications

BSc or equivalent in Microbiology, Pharmacy, Life or Analytical Science with at least 5 years of experience in either clinical diagnostics or industry diagnostics. Good understanding and strong exposure to the microbiology and rapid ID/AST markets. The candidate must be an outgoing and likeable individual with a high degree of personal integrity. Self-motivation is essential as a willingness to work with others toward a shared goal. Well organized and able to decide priorities in a rapidly changing commercial environment. Current valid driving license and availability to travel. Double competencies in Analytical technologies and Sales required. Preferred locations:

Mumbai or Delhi.
