Job Overview:

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) at Softcell, you will be entrusted with managing a select set of enterprise accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, drive, manage, and execute a business plan that aligns with the IT investment strategies of your assigned accounts. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence and drive business outcomes by positioning Softcell’s System Integration (SI) solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Plan Execution:

Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve revenue goals within your assigned key accounts. Customer Insight:

Understand the IT investment landscape of each customer and align Softcell’s SI solutions to meet their specific needs. Effectively map customer requirements to the right technology solutions. Techno-Commercial Leadership:

Lead techno-commercial discussions and decisions, coordinating cross-functional teams from pre-sales through to business realization. Account Development:

Proactively prospect, up-sell, cross-sell, and generate new business opportunities within your assigned accounts. Sales Cycle Management:

Navigate the buying cycles of enterprise customers, ensuring timely and comprehensive responses to ongoing RFPs. Stakeholder Mapping:

Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers, including CXOs, within your assigned accounts. Leverage customer insights to develop tailored solutions. OEM Engagement:

Collaborate with OEMs, leveraging their networks and resources to support opportunity closure and enhance customer satisfaction. Market Analysis:

Continuously monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, pricing, and technology developments to refine and improve your business strategies.

Experience and Qualifications:

Experience:

6-10 years of IT sales experience, preferably in the Large and Mid-Market enterprise segments, with a proven track record in achieving sales targets. Skills:

High energy, strong interpersonal skills, and a relentless drive to succeed. Experience in leading teams or business units is highly desirable. Technical Acumen:

A strong interest in IT technology, with a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry developments. Education:

MBA with a specialisation in Marketing or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory. Teamwork:

Excellent collaboration skills, with a keen ability to listen, adapt, and work effectively within a team environment.
