Lead Data Science Engineer

Job Summary:

As the AI Lead Engineer at ImageVision, you will spearhead the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. You will lead a team of talented engineers and collaborate closely with data scientists, architects, and project managers to deliver scalable and robust AI-driven products and services. This role requires a deep technical expertise in AI algorithms,Computer Vison , strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovation. Lead colloborations efforts with universities, partners and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of AI engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI models and applications. Architect and implement end-to-end AI solutions that meet business objectives and technical requirements. Mentor and guide team members in best practices for AI development, code reviews, and performance optimization. Collaborate with data scientists to translate research prototypes into scalable, production-ready systems. Evaluate and select appropriate AI frameworks, tools, and technologies for various projects. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies and integrate them into existing and new systems. Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in AI solutions. Drive innovation through research, experimentation, and prototyping new AI techniques and approaches. Work with Hardware partners for developing and deploying end -to-end products Managing customer expectations , supporting sales and marketing driving business growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). 8+ years of experience in AI and machine learning development, with at least 2 years in a lead role. Strong proficiency in AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of AI algorithms, data structures, and statistical models. Proven track record of delivering AI solutions from conception to production. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different teams. Leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching team members.

Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in AI, machine learning, or related fields (e.g., NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute, Google Cloud AI certifications). Experience with big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
